Zhejiang Tea Group Co., Ltd.

Founded in 1950, Zhejiang Tea Group., Ltd. is one of the tea companies who have the longest history in China. After more than half a century's development, we have become one of the largest tea suppliers in China and also one of the largest green tea suppliers in the world. At present, the total tea export volume has achieved more than 40,000 metric tons annually, ranking the first in China for more than 10 years. Meanwhile, the green tea export quantity occupies the world's first place for a long time as well.

We handle in a full range of tea available in China. Our products covers green tea (including Chunmee, Gunpowder, Lungjing, and Sencha), black tea, flower tea, oolong, Pu'er as well as fruit tea, tea bag, instant tea and specialty tea. It was in 1992 that we began to produce organic tea and we are one of the largest organic tea suppliers in China presently.

Our products are exported to 63 countries while the main markets are the USA, Japan, the West Africa, the North Africa, the South Asia, the Middle Asia, Russia and the EU. Furthermore, we also have five foreign subsidiaries and representatives in Japan, South Asia and West Africa.

Camel and Shifeng, which are the brands of our own, have become world famous brands in tea market and achieved outstanding reputation. They have been registered in more than 30 countries and areas. Camel has been honored as "Famous Brand in Zhejiang" while it was also authorized as "Key Famous Export Brand Supported by Ministry of Commerce", which is the only brand in China tea industry up to now.

We have established 8,000 hectare tea plantations and we invested to build several tea factories. A factory that has the productivity of 30,000 metric tons of Gunpowder and Chunmee will be set up to run in May 2007. All our products will be produced on the bases to ensure the retroactivity of the quality and safety.

We took the lead in adopting ISO9001 quality management system in China in 1998. We have built up a perfect quality control system to guarantee the quality of products and the services.

As we have entered a new era of healthy development, we shall enjoy a faster speed with the scale expanded steadily. In 2005, we were the 329th of 500 Chinese enterprises of the biggest import-export trading turnover while we also ranked the 190th in the top 200 biggest export trading turnover.
